Traverse Tavern
Client
Traverse Tavern YouTube Channel
Role
Logo Designer, Brand Designer
Date
January 2023
Project Summary
With my branding, the Traverse Tavern YouTube channel gained momentum and rose to 1,500+ subscribers in less than 6 months, bypassing other Lorcana-focused channels and reaching monetized status. Lorcana, the trading card game at the focus of the channel, is licensed by Disney and created by Ravensburger Games. I was careful of copyright material while creating an approachable brand that would appeal to Disney fans and long-term trading card game players alike.
All card art is copyright protected by Disney.

Project Summary
A love for printmaking led me to create Mavka Press, where I create intricate linocuts that explore folklore and storytelling. I maintain a professional yet handmade aesthetic in my branding, from the logo to the packaging of my products.
Quality is a top priority for me, and I ensure that each item I ship bears my hand-carved logomark. To further elevate my brand, I've created an animated version of my logomark that I incorporate into my digital presence, from emails to social media posts.
During launch week, Mavka Press sold over a dozen prints and gained over thirty subscribers to its newsletter. With the strength of my work and branding, I'm confident that Mavka Press will thrive as a business for years to come.

Bloodknot Comic
Role
Logo Designer, Brand Designer
Date
January 2020 - Present
Project Summary
Bloodknot is an enthralling YA webcomic that revolves around the disappearance of a young boy and an eerie force lurking beneath the waves. I craft every piece of it, from story to artwork.
The logo utilizes the Berkshire Swash font, which imparts an organic, nautical feel while ensuring readability at different sizes. To underscore the fisherman's knot motif, I connected the "k" and the "n" in the logo design. I crafted an engaging homepage and a user-friendly layout for the reading pages, complete with icons and navigational elements that conform to the Berkshire Swash visual language. This allows the website to act as an extension of the brand.
Bloodknot's unique branding sets it apart from other webcomics and attracts readers from all over the globe. Every page of the comic allows me to grow my design, typography, and illustration skills.
